Samaritan Foundation for Destitute and Dying (SFDD) is an indigenous non-profit organization. It is an association of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) engaged in rehabilitation and developmental activities focusing on poverty alleviation in Ethiopia.

We provide support to those who require immediate basic needs such as health, education and nutrition. Our focus has been those who are at most risk and who have no support such as the very poor, the elderly and very remote communities. We are a small, local organization who understand the issues at the ground level and who use our local knowledge to identify those most in need of help. Our aim is to provide a sustainable future for the people of Ethiopia by not only providing short term immediate support but also running workshops and helping the community develop solutions for their problems now and for the future.
